Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

n8n-nodes-cord

v1.2.0

Published

n8n node for Cord: quotes, clients, invoices and payments in one link.

Readme

n8n-nodes-cord

The Cord node for n8n. Cord takes a sale from proposal to payment in a single link: quotes, clients, invoices and payments.

Installation

On self-hosted n8n, open Settings › Community Nodes › Install and enter n8n-nodes-cord.

Credentials

The node uses a Cord API credential with a secret API key.

  1. In Cord, turn on Developer mode at the bottom of the Settings index.
  2. Open the API tab and create a secret key with write access.
  3. Paste it in the Cord API credential in n8n. Keys that start with sk_test_ work with your Cord test environment.

Nodes

  • Cord Trigger starts a workflow when something happens in Cord: a quote is sent, opened, approved or paid, an invoice is paid, a client is created, and more. It registers its own webhook in Cord when the workflow is activated, removes it when it is deactivated, and verifies the X-Cord-Signature-V1 signature on every delivery.
  • Cord works with Cord data:
    • Clients: create, update, get and search.
    • Quotes: create, get, search, send and mark as paid.
    • Tasks: create.

The Cord node can also be used as a tool by AI agents in n8n.

Compatibility

Requires n8n 1.x. Built with the official @n8n/node-cli and eligible for n8n Cloud verification.

Resources

Development

npm install
npm run lint # n8n's rules for community nodes, including n8n Cloud eligibility
npm test # builds, then checks the package, the event list and the signature
npm run dev # runs n8n locally with this node

npm run release bumps the version, tags it and pushes; the Publish workflow publishes to npm with provenance.
