Evolution API - Search Messages node for n8n. Search WhatsApp message history by keywords, dates, and conversation.

Requirements

• n8n instance (v1.0+)
• Evolution API instance with API access
• Existing evolutionApi credentials configured in n8n

Installation

Option 1: Install from npm (coming soon)

npm install n8n-nodes-evolution-message-search

Option 2: Install as community node

1. In n8n, go to Settings > Community Nodes
2. Click Install
3. Enter: n8n-nodes-evolution-message-search
4. Accept terms and install

Option 3: Install from source

cd n8n-nodes-evolution-message-search
npm install
npm run build
npm link

Then in your n8n installation directory:

cd ~/.n8n/custom
npm link n8n-nodes-evolution-message-search

Configuration

Credentials

This node uses the existing evolutionApi credential type. Before using the node:

1. Go to Credentials in n8n
2. Create a new Evolution API credential
3. Enter your Evolution API URL and API key
