Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-html-to-pdf

📌 Descripción

Este nodo para n8n permite convertir HTML en un archivo PDF utilizando un microservicio en Docker. Es útil para generar facturas, reportes o cualquier documento a partir de contenido HTML.


⚙️ Instalación

Puedes instalar este nodo en n8n desde la interfaz de "Community Nodes" en los ajustes:

  1. Abre n8n y ve a Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Haz clic en Install a Community Node.
  3. Escribe el nombre del paquete:
    n8n-nodes-html-to-pdf
  4. Instala el nodo y reinicia n8n.

🚀 Uso

📥 Entrada

Este nodo toma como entrada:

  • HTML: El contenido HTML que quieres convertir en PDF.
  • API URL: La URL del microservicio encargado de la conversión.

📤 Salida

  • Devuelve el archivo PDF en formato Base64, listo para ser descargado o enviado por email.

🛠 Configuración del Microservicio

Este nodo depende de un servicio externo basado en wkhtmltopdf. Puedes ejecutarlo en Docker con el siguiente comando:

docker run -p 8000:8000 my-html-to-pdf-service

Asegúrate de que el servicio esté corriendo antes de usar el nodo en n8n.
