Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-influxdb2

This is an n8n community node for InfluxDB v2 API integration. It provides time-series data management capabilities for your n8n workflows.

Features

  • Bucket Operations: Create, delete, get, and list buckets
  • Organization Management: List organizations
  • Query Execution: Execute Flux queries for data retrieval
  • Data Writing: Write data points with tags, fields, and timestamps

Installation

To use this community node in your n8n instance:

npm install n8n-nodes-influxdb2

Configuration

Configure your InfluxDB credentials with:

  • URL: Your InfluxDB instance URL (e.g., http://localhost:8086)
  • API Token: InfluxDB API token with appropriate permissions
  • Ignore SSL Issues: Option to bypass SSL validation (for development)

Usage

The node provides four main resources:

Bucket

  • List all buckets in an organization
  • Get specific bucket details
  • Create new buckets with retention policies
  • Delete existing buckets

Organization

  • List available organizations

Query

  • Execute Flux queries for data retrieval
  • Support for complex time-series queries

Write

  • Write data points with measurements, tags, and fields
  • Support for various timestamp precisions
  • Custom timestamp expressions

Requirements

  • n8n version 0.87.0 or later
  • InfluxDB v2.x instance
  • Valid InfluxDB API token
