n8n-nodes-linkedin-profile-api
An n8n community node that collects public LinkedIn person profiles and returns clean, structured data: name, headline, location, current company and title, work experience, education, and follower counts. It is backed by the LinkedIn Profile API on Apify and bills per profile, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does
Give the node one or more public LinkedIn profile URLs, and it returns one item per profile with the person's name, headline, location, current company and title, work experience, education, honors, and follower and connection counts. All URLs are collected in one batch and returned as one row per profile. It also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can look up profiles on demand.
- Collect one or many public LinkedIn profiles in a single run (up to 1000 per run)
- Get structured fields: name, headline, location, company, title, experience, education, followers
- Choose how much data to return per profile: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields
- Use it directly in a workflow or attach it as a tool to an AI Agent

- Open Settings > Integrations and copy your Personal API token.
- In n8n, create a new Apify API credential and paste the token.
- Use the credential's Test button to confirm it works.

Operations
Profile > Get collects one or more public LinkedIn profiles.
| Parameter | Description | | --- | --- | | Profile URLs | One or more public LinkedIn personal profile URLs. Required. Up to 1000 per run. | | Output | How much data to return: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields. |
URLs that are not LinkedIn /in/ profile URLs are skipped.
Output
Each profile is returned as its own n8n item. The API returns more than ten fields per profile, so the Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:
- Simplified (default): a compact object with
result_type,name,headline,currentCompany,currentTitle,location,followers,publicUrl, andsummary. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small. - Raw: every field the API returns for each profile, using the original field names below.
- Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.
Each row carries a result_type of profile or error. Error rows include error_message and error_type instead of profile fields.
