Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-databricks-ai

This is an n8n community node for integrating with Databricks AI models. It allows you to use Databricks-hosted LLMs directly within your n8n workflows.

Installation

Community Nodes (Recommended)

For users with n8n v0.187+, you can install this node directly through the Community Nodes tab in n8n:

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes
  2. Search for "databricks-ai"
  3. Click Install
  4. Restart n8n

Manual Installation

To get started using the n8n-nodes-databricks-ai node, you can either:

  1. Install it from npm:
npm install n8n-nodes-databricks-ai
  1. Clone this repository and build it:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/n8n-nodes-databricks-ai
cd n8n-nodes-databricks-ai
pnpm install
pnpm build

Usage

  1. Create credentials for the Databricks AI API:

    • Get your Databricks API token from your Databricks workspace
    • Note your Databricks serving endpoint URL
  2. In n8n:

    • Add the Databricks AI node to your workflow
    • Select "Databricks AI API" as credentials
    • Enter your API token and base URL
    • Configure the node:
      • Select the operation (Chat Completion)
      • Choose your model (e.g., databricks-meta-llama-3-3-70b-instruct)
      • Add messages with roles (system, user, assistant)
      • Set additional options like max tokens

The node will appear in the AI Models category alongside other AI nodes like OpenAI and DeepSeek.
