Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-nike-scraper

An n8n community node that scrapes Nike.com product listings and full product detail. It is backed by the Nike API Scraper on Apify, which talks directly to the api.nike.com consumer API, and bills per event, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does

Give the node category/search URLs, free-text search terms, product URLs, or bare styleColor codes and it returns one item per Nike product with title, colorway, pricing, sale status, and image URLs. Optionally enrich every listing result with full product-detail-page data or with live per-size stock availability. It also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can check price and sale status for a given shoe on demand. Good for price/sale tracking, catalog feeds, and product-detail lookups.

  • Scrape by category/search URL, free-text search term, product URL, or styleColor
  • Live pricing: current price, full price, discount percentage, on-sale flag
  • Optionally fetch full product detail or live per-size availability
  • Choose how much data to return per result: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields

Installation

Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide:

  1. In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-nike-scraper as the npm package name.
  4. Agree to the risks of using community nodes, then select Install.

After it installs, the Nike Scraper node appears in the nodes panel.

n8n Cloud only allows verified community nodes. Until this node is verified, install it on a self-hosted n8n instance.

Credentials

You need a free Apify account and an API token.

  1. Sign in to the Apify Console.
  2. Open Settings > Integrations and copy your Personal API token.
  3. In n8n, create a new Apify API credential and paste the token.
  4. Use the credential's Test button to confirm it works.

The node also supports Apify OAuth2 if you prefer to connect that way.

Operations

Product > Search returns products from category/search URLs, search terms, product URLs, and/or styleColors.

Output

Each product is returned as its own n8n item. The Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:

  • Simplified (default): title, colorDescription, styleColor, currentPrice, fullPrice, isOnSale, url. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small.
  • Raw: every field the API returns for each product, using the original field names below.
  • Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.

Example workflows

1. Track a shoe's price and sale status daily

  1. Schedule Trigger (daily).
  2. Nike Scraper: Style Colors CW2288-111.
  3. Filter: flag results where isOnSale is true, then notify by email or Slack.

2. Build a catalog feed for a category with full detail

  1. Nike Scraper: Category / Search URLs https://www.nike.com/w/mens-shoes-nik1zy7ok, Fetch Full Product Details true.
  2. Postgres: upsert styleColor, title, currentPrice, fullPrice, url per product.

3. Let an AI Agent check if a shoe is on sale

  1. AI Agent node.
  2. Attach Nike Scraper as a tool.
  3. Ask "Is the Nike Air Force 1 CW2288-111 on sale right now?" The agent calls the node (in Simplified mode) and returns the matching product's price and sale status.

Pricing

This node calls the Nike API Scraper on Apify, which is billed pay-per-event: $0.001 per listing row, $0.002 per full-detail row, and $0.001 per product enriched with live size availability. No subscription, no minimums. Apify also includes a free monthly usage tier that covers typical volumes. See the Actor page for current rates.
