Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-onevision

This is an n8n community node for OneVision Workspace Server integration.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation | Operations | Credentials | Compatibility

Installation

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.

Community Nodes (Recommended)

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes
  2. Select Install a community node
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-onevision
  4. Click Install
  5. Restart n8n

Operations

Assembly Line Management

  • Get All: List all assembly lines
  • Get XML: Retrieve assembly line configuration
  • Activate: Enable an assembly line
  • Deactivate: Disable an assembly line

Authentication

  • Alive: Check service health
  • Login: Authenticate to workspace
  • Logout: End session

JMF (Job Messaging Format)

  • Submit JMF: Submit JMF commands
  • Get JMF: Retrieve JMF data

Job Management

  • Get Job: Retrieve job details
  • Get All Jobs: List all jobs

Credentials

You need OneVision Workspace Server API credentials.

Required fields:

  • API Key: Your OneVision API key (X-API-Key header)
  • Base URL: Your OneVision server URL (e.g., https://ov.visualgraphx.com)

Get your API key from:

  1. Log into OneVision Workspace Server
  2. Go to Settings > API
  3. Generate or copy your API key

Compatibility

Tested with:

  • n8n v1.0.0+
  • OneVision Workspace Server v20+

Usage Example

Starting a Print Job

  1. Add OneVision node to workflow
  2. Select Resource: Job Start
  3. Select Operation: Start Job
  4. Configure job parameters
  5. Execute workflow

Checking System Health

  1. Add OneVision node
  2. Select Resource: Authentication
  3. Select Operation: Alive
  4. Execute to verify connection
