Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-orbis

Official n8n community node for the Orbis API Marketplace — access 700+ production APIs for AI agents and developers.

What is Orbis?

Orbis is an API marketplace built for the agent era. 700+ live APIs covering YouTube stats, cloud security audits, Spotify, TikTok, NBA data, peptide compounds, live prices, and much more. Every API accepts Stripe subscriptions and x402 USDC pay-per-call payments on Base.

Installation

In your n8n instance:

  1. Go to Settings → Community Nodes
  2. Click Install
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-orbis
  4. Click Install

Or via npm:

npm install n8n-nodes-orbis

Setup

  1. Get your Orbis API key at orbisapi.com → Dashboard → Subscribe to any API → Copy your key
  2. In n8n, add a new Orbis API credential and paste your key

Usage

Popular APIs (Pre-configured)

Select from pre-configured popular APIs with guided endpoint and parameter selection:

  • YouTube Channel & Stats — channel info, recent videos, view counts
  • Cloud Security Checker — audit AWS configurations for misconfigurations
  • Spotify Track Search — search tracks by query
  • Spotify Artist & Albums — get artist info and discography
  • TikTok Profile & Videos — profile stats and recent content
  • NBA Stats — games, player stats, team stats
  • Holiday Checker — check if a date is a public holiday by country
  • QR Code Generator — generate QR codes from any data
  • Random & Fake Data — generate test persons, companies, addresses
  • Text Utilities — summarize, sentiment analysis, word count

Any Orbis API (Custom Mode)

Use any of the 700+ APIs on Orbis:

  1. Find the API on orbisapi.com/marketplace
  2. Copy the slug from the URL
  3. Switch to Custom mode in the node
  4. Enter the slug and endpoint path
  5. Add query parameters

Example Workflows

Daily YouTube monitoring:

Schedule trigger → Orbis (YouTube /channel) → Google Sheets (log stats) → Slack (post update)

Cloud security alerts:

Webhook trigger → Orbis (Cloud Security /check) → IF node (score < 50) → PagerDuty alert

Spotify new release tracker:

Schedule trigger → Orbis (Spotify /albums) → Compare with previous → Email if new album found

Authentication

All API calls require an Orbis API key passed as x-api-key. Get a key by subscribing to any API on orbisapi.com. Free tiers available on most APIs.
