Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Readme

n8n-nodes-osint-industries

This package adds the OSINT Industries API to your n8n workflows. Use it to enrich email addresses and phone numbers or to monitor your remaining API credits without leaving your automation canvas.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation

Follow the official community node installation guide to add the package to your n8n instance.

The npm package name is n8n-nodes-osint-industries.

Operations

| Operation | Description | |-----------|-------------| | Search | Query the OSINT Industries data lake by email address or phone number. Optionally split the response into one item per module. | | Get Remaining Credits | Retrieve the remaining credit balance for the authenticated account. |

Credentials

  1. Sign in to your OSINT Industries account.
  2. Generate an API key from the dashboard.
  3. Create a new credential in n8n using the OSINT Industries API type and paste the key.

The credential test button issues a /credits call to verify the API key.

Compatibility

  • Requires n8n v1.50.0 or newer (tested with v1.50 and v1.71).
  • Node runtime: requires network egress to https://osint.industries.

Usage

Search for an email or phone number

  1. Add the OSINT Industries node to your workflow.
  2. Choose the Search operation and select the identifier type (email or phone).
  3. Provide the value to look up. Optionally adjust the timeout (1–60 seconds) and whether to split the output into multiple items (one per module) or keep a single aggregate item.
  4. Execute the workflow to receive structured module data, including source reliability flags and platform-specific attributes.

Check remaining credits

  1. Add the OSINT Industries node and select the Get Remaining Credits operation.
  2. Execute the workflow to retrieve the current credit balance.
