n8n-nodes-smtp-advanced
Advanced SMTP node for n8n with support for:
- Reply-To headers: Send emails with custom Reply-To addresses
- Custom headers: Add any custom email headers
- Forward emails: Forward existing emails to other recipients
- Standard email sending: Send regular emails with attachments
Installation
Community Nodes (Recommended)
- Go to Settings > Community Nodes in n8n
- Select Install
- Enter
n8n-nodes-smtp-advanced - Agree to the risks and install
Manual Installation
npm install n8n-nodes-smtp-advancedConfiguration
Add SMTP credentials in n8n:
- Host: Your SMTP server hostname
- Port: SMTP port (usually 587 or 465)
- SSL/TLS: Enable if required
- Username: SMTP username
- Password: SMTP password
Operations
Send Email
Send a regular email with optional attachments and custom headers.
Parameters:
- From Email
- To Email(s)
- Subject
- Text/HTML content
- Attachments (optional)
- Custom Headers (optional)
- Reply-To (optional)
Reply To Email
Reply to an existing email with proper threading headers.
Parameters:
- Original Message ID
- Original References
- From Email
- To Email(s)
- Subject
- Text/HTML content
- Reply-To (optional)
- Custom Headers (optional)
Forward Email
Forward an email to other recipients.
Parameters:
- From Email
- To Email(s)
- Original Subject
- Original Content
- Forward Comment (optional)
- Attachments from original (optional)
