This is an n8n community node for the Spaceship.com domain registrar API. It lets you automate domain management, DNS records, contacts, transfers, and SellerHub operations directly from your n8n workflows.

Installation

From n8n Community Nodes

1. In n8n, go to Settings > Community Nodes
2. Click Install
3. Enter n8n-nodes-spaceship
4. Click Install

Credentials Setup

1. Log in to Spaceship.com
2. Go to API Manager at https://www.spaceship.com/application/api-manager/
3. Click New API key and follow the setup guide
4. Copy your API Key and API Secret
5. In n8n, create new credentials of type Spaceship API
6. Paste your API Key and API Secret

Example Workflows

Check if a domain is available and register it

1. Add Spaceship node → Resource: Domain Availability → Operation: Check Single Domain
2. Add IF node to check available === true
3. Add Spaceship node → Resource: Domain Management → Operation: Register Domain

Monitor async domain registration

1. Trigger domain registration (returns asyncOperationId)
2. Add Wait node (poll interval)
3. Add Spaceship node → Resource: Async Operations → Operation: Get Details
4. Add IF node to check status === "success"

Authentication

Spaceship uses a combination of API Key + API Secret passed as HTTP headers:

• X-Api-Key: YOUR_KEY
• X-Api-Secret: YOUR_SECRET

Rate Limits

The Spaceship API enforces rate limits per operation. The node handles 429 Too Many Requests errors gracefully with informative error messages.
