Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Readme

n8n-nodes-spike

Official Spike community node for n8n.

n8n-nodes-spike lets you create Spike forms, submit data to public Spike forms, and trigger n8n workflows whenever a new submission is received.

Features

  • Trigger: New Submission
  • Action: Create Form
  • Action: Submit Form
  • Live dropdowns for organizations and forms
  • API key authentication

Installation

In n8n:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Open Community Nodes
  3. Click Install
  4. Enter n8n-nodes-spike
  5. Restart n8n if your deployment requires it

You can also install manually:

npm install n8n-nodes-spike

Credentials

Create Spike API credentials in n8n with:

  • API Key: your Spike API key
  • Base URL: usually https://api.spike.ac

Nodes

Spike Trigger

Starts a workflow when Spike receives a new submission for a selected form.

How it works:

  • n8n registers a webhook subscription with Spike
  • Spike stores the subscription in automation_webhooks
  • Each new submission is delivered to your n8n webhook URL

Spike

Available operations:

  • Create Form
  • Submit Form

Create Form uses your authenticated Spike API account.

Submit Form sends raw JSON to a public Spike form endpoint using:

  • organization slug
  • form slug

Requirements

  • A Spike account
  • A Spike API key
  • A reachable Spike API deployment for webhook subscriptions if you use Spike Trigger

Webhook Trigger Requirements

For Spike Trigger to work, your Spike backend must expose:

  • POST /integrations/n8n/hooks
  • DELETE /integrations/n8n/hooks

and must dispatch submission events from Spike to stored automation webhooks.

Package

  • npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/n8n-nodes-spike

Development

pnpm install
pnpm --filter n8n-nodes-spike build
pnpm --filter n8n-nodes-spike typecheck
