Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The Companies API Banner

n8n-nodes-thecompaniesapi is an n8n community node. It lets you use The Companies API in your n8n workflows.

The Companies API provides access to 50M+ companies with real-time enrichment, powerful search capabilities, analytics, and more.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation

Community Nodes

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation:

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-thecompaniesapi in Enter npm package name.
  4. Agree to the risks of using community nodes.
  5. Select Install.

Credentials

To use The Companies API node, you will need to authenticate with your API token.

  1. Sign up for or sign in to The Companies API.
  2. Get your API token from your settings page.
  3. Create new credentials in n8n:
    • Add and use The Companies API node in your workflow.
    • Under "Credential to connect with", click "Create New Credential".
    • Paste your API token in the "API Token" field.

Test the credentials to make sure they work correctly.
