Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Official n8n community node for the Trueform email validation API

Readme

n8n-nodes-trueform

npm version CI MIT License

This is the official n8n community node for the Trueform email validation API. It checks email format, provider type, disposable-domain status, mail routing, and common domain typos without an API key.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation Operations Compatibility Usage Resources Version history

Installation

Install n8n-nodes-trueform from Settings > Community Nodes in a self-hosted n8n instance. See n8n's community-node installation guide for other installation methods.

Operations

  • Validate email sends one validation request for each incoming n8n item.
  • The Email field accepts expressions such as {{ $json.email }}.
  • The output contains the normalized address and all seven Trueform validation fields.

Trueform's public API does not require credentials.

Compatibility

Requires Node.js 22.22 or newer and n8n 2.0 or newer. CI tests the package against the current n8n node tooling.

Usage

Connect any node that produces an email field, set Email to an expression such as {{ $json.email }}, then route the result with an If or Switch node.

is_deliverable is a domain-level verdict. It does not confirm that a specific mailbox exists.

An undeliverable address is a successful node result with is_deliverable: false. Temporary DNS failures return 503, and rate limits return 429; n8n keeps these as execution errors so they are never mistaken for invalid addresses. Use n8n retry settings or an error workflow for those temporary conditions.

The public API allows 60 requests per 60 seconds per source IP. For larger lists, process items in batches and wait between batches.

Example workflow:

Webhook -> Trueform -> If is_deliverable -> CRM

Resources

Development

npm install
npm run check
npm run test:live

npm run test:live sends one request to the production Trueform API. The regular test suite does not require network access.
