Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-versio-event

This is an n8n community node. It lets you use Versio.io Event Node in your n8n workflows and send events to Versio.io. Versio.io Event Node makes it very easy to send custom, workflow-releated events from any n8n workflow straight into the Versio.io platform. This integration is a powerful tool for achieving the "single pane of glass" view, reinforcing Versio.io's function as your comprehensive umbrella system for event consolidation.

Credentials

Before using the Versio.io Event node, you must have the following:

  1. Environment ID: The specific environment ID on your Versio.io platform.
  2. API Token: An API token with permissions to write events to the target environment.
  3. n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.

Compatibility

This node has been tested using n8n version 1.122.4.

Usage

In order to integrate the Versio.io node into your workflow, go to your n8n workflow and click on the plus sign next to your current node and then type Versio.io. The node will appear and is ready for integration.

The Versio.io node uses a standard API credential type to connect to your environment.

  1. In your n8n instance, click "Credentials" in the sidebar.
  2. Click "Create Credential" and search for "Versio.io API".
  3. Fill Server URL: THis is the base URL of your Versio.io instance.
  4. Environment: This is ID of the target environment where the events should be sent, provided by your Versio.io administrator.
  5. API Token: The authentication token for accessing the REST API, gGenerated within your Versio.io user settings. |
