Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

n8n community node for VoiceCallingAI — place human-sounding AI voice calls

Readme

n8n-nodes-voicecallingai

This is an n8n community node. It lets you use VoiceCallingAI in your n8n workflows.

VoiceCallingAI places human-sounding AI voice calls in 11 Indian languages — for order confirmations, lead follow-ups, reminders, and more.

n8n is a fair-code licensed workflow automation platform.

Installation Operations Credentials Usage Resources

Installation

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.

To install manually: in n8n, go to Settings > Community Nodes, select Install, and enter n8n-nodes-voicecallingai.

Operations

  • Place a Call — place an AI voice call to a phone number using one of your VoiceCallingAI agents.
  • Get Call Status — retrieve the status of a call you previously placed, using its Call Request ID.

Credentials

You need a VoiceCallingAI account with API access.

  1. Sign up at voicecallingai.com.
  2. Find your API key in your dashboard (it starts with vca_).
  3. In n8n, create a new VoiceCallingAI API credential and paste in the key.
  4. Click Test to confirm — it validates the key against the read-only wallet endpoint.

Usage

Place a Call

  • Agent ID — the ID of the agent that should make the call (from your dashboard).
  • Phone Number — the number to call, in E.164 format (include the country code, e.g. +919909931217). Numbers without a country code are rejected.
  • Name (optional) — the contact's name, made available to the agent.
  • External Reference (optional) — your own reference, e.g. an order number.

The call is placed asynchronously. A successful response returns a Call Request id and a status of queued.

Get Call Status

  • Call Request ID — the id returned when the call was placed.

Returns the current status of the call.
