What is this?

A command line tool that returns the color name of a Hex color value.

It searches a library of 16721 handpicked colors assembled from various sources and user submissions.

Now, since there are 16581375 possible RGB colors, there may not be an exact match. In that case, it finds the closest RGB neighbor.

How do I use this?

First, install:

npm install name-the-color -g

Then, do a search by typing:

color 000000
// or
color "#000000"
// or
color \#000000
