Shopify store lookup for agents (MCP + CLI)

Neonjelly is ecommerce intelligence for AI agents: a live Shopify store list and product catalog (1.37M shops, 368.9M SKUs) over Model Context Protocol and a REST GET API.

The CLI exposes every MCP tool by name — playbooks, diligence, niche research, outreach, and Signals (paid). Same names as Cursor / Claude.

Use it as:

• a Shopify MCP server for Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, VS Code, ChatGPT, or Windsurf
• a Shopify CLI — neonjelly store gruntstyle.com or neonjelly diligence_pack gruntstyle.com
• a Shopify store analyzer / product research tool (traffic, modeled revenue bands, apps, prices, change feeds, outreach emails)

No local scrape. No probe. Missing store stays not_found.

Puts neonjelly on PATH (npm global prefix, or ~/.local/bin if that prefix is not writable). npx neonjelly still works and runs the same postinstall. login mints a 14-day trial (100 lookups/day) or reuses the one already live on this IP from neonjelly.io/start. Writes ~/.neonjelly/config.json (mode 600). Secret printed once.

Same package, three transports:

1. Stdio MCP — Cursor / Claude Desktop spawn neonjelly (piped stdin).
2. Tool commands — neonjelly <tool> [args] calls tools/call on https://mcp.neonjelly.io.
3. Catalog GET — neonjelly get '/v1/stores?q=hoodie&limit=5' → https://mcp.neonjelly.io/v1.

Auth, first match: --key nj_… → NEONJELLY_API_KEY → ~/.neonjelly/config.json. Connect URL: --url → NEONJELLY_CONNECT_URL. An njc_ token becomes /c/{token}/mcp.

--json / NEONJELLY_JSON=1 prints only JSON on stdout (no banner). --compact one line. --copy clipboard. --quiet no spinner. --timeout 90 (seconds). --args '{"q":"hoodie"}' or pipe JSON to neonjelly <tool> -. Hyphens = underscores (get-store → get_store). --country-code US → countryCode.

Exit codes: 0 ok · 1 error · 2 usage · 3 upgrade needed (quota / trial / Signals paid).

upgrade / open checkout only open a URL from GET /v1/upgrade. Promo LAUNCH is typed on Stripe Checkout, not in this CLI.
