Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

NgxHtaTable

This library was generated with Angular CLI version 17.3.0.

This is the working package of HtaTable that will receive updates.

Compatible with Angular versions 17 and above.

Uses Bootstrap CSS and Font Awesome, but it is up to you to choose how you will provide them, as there are many ways to provide them.

Installation

npm install --save ngx-hta-table

Remember to provide the Bootstrap and Font Awesome CSS!

There is an image asset included that is used when the table receives an empty body, and to use it, you need to add the assets in your angular.json:

/*...*/
"assets": [
  /*...*/
  {
      "glob": "**/*",
      "input": "node_modules/ngx-hta-table/assets",
      "output": "/assets/"
  },
  /*...*/
],
/*...*/

Basic Usage

*.component.html:

<lib-hta-table [listofObject]="objectKeys" [tableHeaderList]="tableHeaders" [tableBodyList]="tableData" [isEditable]="true" [isDeleteble]="true" (callbackEdit)="onEdit($event)" (callbackDelete)="onDelete($event)" />

*.component.ts:

import { HtaTableComponent } from "ngx-hta-table";

@Component({
  // ...
  imports: [HtaTableComponent],
  // ...
})
export class TableComponent {
  objectKeys = [{ key: "foo" }, { key: "bar" }];
  tableHeaders = [{ ar: "قائمة 1" }, { ar: "قائمة 2" }];
  tableData = [
    { foo: "تجربة 1", bar: "تجربة 2" },
    { foo: "تجربة 3", bar: "تجربة 4" },
  ];

  onEdit(event: any) {
    // YOUR CODE HERE
  }

  onDelete(event: any) {
    // YOUR CODE HERE
  }
}

This shows only the bare table with its data and Edit and Delete callbacks, but you can customise further beyond the defaults.

Inputs

The library provides multiple inputs for customising how it works and looks:

| Input | Description | Values | | ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------- | | tableHeaderList | Required. The array of headers to show in the table. You need to set each header as an ar parameter in an object. | [{ ar: '' }] | | listofObject | Required. The array of keys the table will reference to be able to show the data. You need to set each key as a key parameter in an object. You can also set the type of the element defined with the key here, details in the ListOfDataKey interface down. | ListOfDataKey array ([{ key: '' }]) | | tableBodyList | Required. The data that will be shown in the table. You can format this as you need, but adjust tableHeaderList and listofObject for the table to cooperate with your tableBodyList. | any | | isHidden | Boolean to choose whether to hide the row ID or not. | boolean | | tableStyle | A string of CSS classes to add to the table. This allows you to customise how the table looks, but you may need ::ng-deep. | string | | isEditable | Boolean to select whether the rows can be edited or not. If true, a yellow Edit icon will be available to click to edit the corresponding row. | boolean | | isDeleteble | Boolean to select whether the rows can be deleted or not. If true, a red Trash icon will be available to click to delete the corresponding row. | boolean | | isAdding | Boolean to select whether the rows can be filled with details added or not. If true, a green Add icon will be available to click to add the corresponding row's details. | boolean | | isShowing | Boolean to select whether the rows' details can be shown or not. If true, a blue Show icon will be available to click to show the corresponding row's details. | boolean | | hasPagination | Boolean to select whether the table has pagination, splitting the table data into pages. | boolean | | pageSize | Number to define how many rows to show in each page. Defaults to 20. | number | | imageUrl | The URL that will be referenced to show the images in the table data. | string | | lang | Arabic (ar) or English (en) only. The language that the library itself will use, for some elements in the table. | string |

The ListOfDataKey Interface

interface ListOfDataKey {
  key: any;
  isDate?: boolean;
  isDateTime?: boolean;
  sub?: ListOfDataKey;
  isImg?: boolean;
  isThumbnail?: boolean;
  isList?: boolean;
  isInnerHTML?: boolean;
  isBoolean?: boolean;
}

| Key | Description | | --- | --- | | key | The name of the key of the corresponding element in the tableBodyList object. | | isDate | Optional. Is this element a Date? (Date Only) | | isDateTime | Optional. Is this element a Date? (Date and Time) | | sub | Optional. Does this element have a sub-element? | | isImg | Optional. Is this element an Image? If yes, remember to set the imageUrl input! | | isThumbnail | Optional. If the element is an Image, is it supposed to be a small thumbnail? | | isList | Optional. Is this element a list of items? You CANNOT stack lists inside lists, however. | | isInnerHTML | Optional. Is this element a piece of HTML code (think Quill)? THIS BYPASSES SECURITY! Make sure your HTML is safe! | | isBoolean | Optional. Is this element a boolean with just true or false? You may want to set the lang input to your appropriate language for the boolean to show up correctly. |

Outputs

The library provides four outputs corresponding to row events:

| Output | Description | | ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | callbackEdit | Event fired when the user clicks on a row's Edit button. It also provides the row's data and index, including the details, in the $event. | | callbackDelete | Event fired when the user clicks on a row's Trash button. It also provides the row's data and index, including the details, in the $event. | | callbackAdded | Event fired when the user clicks on a row's Add button. It also provides the row's data and index, including the details, in the $event. | | callbackShow | Event fired when the user clicks on a row's Show button. It also provides the row's data and index, including the details, in the $event. |
