node-nhp
node-nhp is an HTML templating language that uses a variant of moustache syntax and processing-instruction tags for control flow and operations. Templates compile to async JavaScript functions, so expressions, directives, and loops can await promises.
documentation
- Getting started: installation, rendering, and Express integration.
- Template language: promise-aware expressions, directives, includes, and loops.
- API reference: the
NHPandTemplateAPIs, options, and lifecycle. - Command line: compiling
.nhpfiles from a package script or terminal.
command line
Projects that depend on nhp can compile templates to HTML with nhp <input.nhp> [output.html] or to standalone JavaScript Node.js modules with nhp -j <input.nhp> [output.js] (--js / --module). When no output path is given, the command writes a file alongside the input. See Command line documentation for details.
