Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bookmark CLI

Prerequisite

Mongo DB server is running on your local machine

Installation

npm install -g node-bookmark-cli

List all categories

List all categories or all bookmark in a category

Example
bookmark list
bookmark list golang
Usage
bookmark list [category]

If category is missing it will list all categories.

Add a new bookmark

Add a new bookmark in a category.

Example
bookmark add golang http://golang.org -t golang -s 100
Usage
bookmark add <category> <url> -t title -s score

Options:
-t, --title [title]    bookmark title
-s, --score [score]    bookmark score for ranking

Open a bookmark

Open a bookmark by title or id

Example
bookmark open 1
bookmark open golang
Usage
bookmark open <id | title>

Update a bookmark

Update title, url, score of a bookmark by id

Example
bookmark update 1 -t golang -u http://golang.org -s 25
Usage
bookmark update <id> -t [title] -u [url] -s [score]

Options:
