Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

node-red-contrib-coap

Build Status platform NPM version Coverage Status NPM

This project adds CoAP support to Node-RED. It is based on Matteo Collina's node-coap.

Functionality

We introduce "coap request", "coap in", and "coap response" nodes which can be used in a similar fashion to "http request", "http in", and "http reponse" nodes from Node-RED's core.

Requirements

This module requires at least Node version 12. This might require you to upgrade the pre-installed Node version on platforms like Beaglebone.

Install

cd $NODE_RED_HOME
npm install node-red-contrib-coap

Install from Source

cd $NODE_RED_HOME/nodes
git clone https://github.com/JKRhb/node-red-contrib-coap.git
cd ./node-red-contrib-coap
npm install

You can check out a couple of usage examples at ./examples directory of this repo.
