node-red-contrib-comfee-dehumidifier
Node-RED cloud integration for the Comfee Luftentfeuchter MDDF-20DEN7, 20L/24h, Raumgröße ca. 100m³ (40m²), APP-fähig mit WLAN-Steuerung. The node also supports compatible Comfee/Midea dehumidifiers using the authenticated Comfee/Midea cloud connection and device protocol.
Search terms: Comfee MDDF-20DEN7, Comfee 20L/24h, Comfee WLAN
Luftentfeuchter, Midea dehumidifier, WiFi dehumidifier, Node-RED
and NetHome Plus.
Status
The authenticated cloud connection, device commands and confirmed state responses are covered by offline tests and live validation. The package does not contain any user-specific device information.
Configuration
Install from the Node-RED Palette Manager after publication. Add a
Comfee dehumidifier node and a Comfee account configuration node, then
enter the same app account used by NetHome Plus. The password is stored by
Node-RED as an encrypted credential and is not part of a flow export. Enter
the device IP and, when required, select the device name from that account.
The node polls state periodically and accepts commands as msg.payload; it
emits confirmed state as msg.payload.
The node uses the authenticated cloud transparent-send path. No shared, demo, or developer account is used. The package contains no personal login, device name, device IP, serial number, MAC address, token, key, or exported flow credentials.
CCU3 / RedMatic
The node runs directly in RedMatic. It does not need Python, a second Raspberry Pi, MQTT, or a separate bridge. Install the published npm package by name and configure the Comfee/Midea app account in Node-RED. The runtime needs outbound HTTPS access to the provider and access to the device network where required.
Supported input examples:
"status"{"power":true,"target_humidity":50,"mode":"continuous","fan":"high"}Never put token/key values into a flow export: they are stored as Node-RED credential fields.
gemeinsamen Befehlsbus. Die Inject-Knoten verwenden vollständige Node-RED-
Felder, einschließlich onceDelay: 0, damit beim Import keine Warn-Dreiecke
entstehen.
Publishing checklist
Run npm login, then npm publish --access public. After npm publication,
submit the package to the Node-RED Flow Library; the current Node-RED guidance
requires a manual submission for new packages. The final package name/scope
must match the npm account that publishes it.
Planned input
{"power": true, "target_humidity": 50, "mode": "continuous", "fan": "high"}The node must emit the state read back from the device after every command.
