Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

nodechargify Build Status

A Node JS wrapper for the Chargify REST API providing an intuitive hierarchical interface to reading data and performing operations.

Installation:

npm install nodechargify

Basic usage:

Documentation

nodechargify uses Promises/A+ instead of callbacks for almost all operations as it helps avoid callback hell and the need to use a library like async.

All site operations are accessed through the Site object, or a child object - nodechargify implements an intuitive hierarchical model:

  • Site -> Product Family -> Products
  • Site -> Subscriptions
  • Site -> Customers -> Customer -> Subscriptions
  • Subscription -> Components -> Usages
  • and so on.

###Connect to a site

Preload site stats and product families/products:

site.load()

###Product Families You cannot create a Product Family via the API.

To quickly perform operations on a Product Family without performing a load you can simply create a ProductFamily wrap using it's id (visible in the Products tab of the dashboard).
