Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Hono-based OAuth server for Anthropic API with Claude Code-style OAuth integration

This is NOT Claude Code Emulator

This is an April Fools' joke. But one thing is true: this source code was written with oh-my-openagent and Kimi K2.5, the certified cheap version of Claude.

This is NOT a Claude Code Emulator. I repeat, NOT.

[!CAUTION] DO NOT use this. This is extremely dangerous. It makes Anthropic difficult to ban abusers. Don't use this. You have been warned.

This is even worse because successful requests with usage data can send usage metrics to Anthropic at /api/claude_code/metrics when the organization allows metrics logging and you did not set DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1 or CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_NONESSENTIAL_TRAFFIC=1.

Install

Prerequisites: Bun and GitHub CLI.

npm install -g not-claude-code-emulator
not-claude-code-emulator install

Use only the published npm installer for setup. Do not use a source checkout for installation.

On the very first run it asks:

Did you star https://github.com/code-yeongyu/not-claude-code-emulator ? (y/n)

If you answer y, the installer immediately runs gh repo star code-yeongyu/not-claude-code-emulator --yes.

Only when that automatic star step succeeds does the installer continue to the OAuth flow.

If you answer n, or if the automatic star step fails, the project stores that refusal and does not run. Re-run not-claude-code-emulator install and answer y to unlock it.

That automatic star step requires GitHub CLI to be installed and authenticated.

The installer opens the browser OAuth flow and stores tokens at ~/.config/anthropic/q/tokens.json.

If you still insist on running it, set DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1 or CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_NONESSENTIAL_TRAFFIC=1 first if you do not want it sending usage metrics when Anthropic enables metrics logging for the org behind the token.
