Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The world's smallest coworker lives in your Mac's notch.

Meet Chawd. He's a mass of pixels. He lives in your MacBook's notch. And he has one job: watch your AI coding agents so you don't have to.

What Chawd Does

  • Watches Claude Code, Codex & Gemini — a black pill extends your notch with a live timer and per-project session list
  • Reacts to the work — glasses while reading, pencil while editing, confetti when a task lands
  • Approve permissions from the notch — Allow / Always / Deny buttons, or ⌃⌥A / ⌃⌥D from anywhere
  • Real completion summaries — notifications show Claude's actual last message
  • Usage limits at a glance — session + weekly rate-limit bars with reset countdowns, warning before you hit the wall
  • Shift report — today's sessions, completions, and active time in the menu bar
  • Nudge — one gentle re-ping if a session waits on you 2+ minutes; never spams
  • 17 idle animations — wave, dance, sneeze, peek-a-boo, yawn, hiccup, spin, levitate, and more
