Notch So Good
The world's smallest coworker lives in your Mac's notch.
Meet Chawd. He's a mass of pixels. He lives in your MacBook's notch. And he has one job: watch your AI coding agents so you don't have to.

npx notch-so-good10 seconds. No Xcode, no dependencies, no sign-up. Or via Homebrew:

- Approve permissions from the notch — Allow / Always / Deny buttons, or
⌃⌥A/⌃⌥Dfrom anywhere - Real completion summaries — notifications show Claude's actual last message
- Usage limits at a glance — session + weekly rate-limit bars with reset countdowns, warning before you hit the wall
- Shift report — today's sessions, completions, and active time in the menu bar
- Nudge — one gentle re-ping if a session waits on you 2+ minutes; never spams
- 17 idle animations — wave, dance, sneeze, peek-a-boo, yawn, hiccup, spin, levitate, and more
Requirements
- macOS 14+ (Sonoma or later)
- Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, or Gemini CLI
- A MacBook with a notch (recommended — works without one too)
