Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

NOVA npm launcher

NOVA is a local-first general-purpose AI CLI powered by NOVA's own neural network. It can converse, reason, write, help with software engineering, UI/UX, visual design, 3D graphics, animation, planning, and workspace tasks.

Install

npm install -g nova-local-coding-ai
nova

The package contains NOVA's Python source and a trained NOVA checkpoint. It does not use another language model as NOVA's brain. PyTorch is the runtime framework for NOVA's own Transformer.

Requirements

  • Node.js 18+
  • Python 3.11+
  • Internet access during first install so PyTorch can be installed

NOVA keeps conversation history during an interactive session. Workspace actions are bounded to the selected workspace and command execution does not use a shell.
