Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Nova Spark is a performance monitoring and diagnostics tool for Node.js applications. It provides a centralized metrics collection system, allowing developers to monitor various aspects of their applications, including CPU usage, memory consumption, and more.

Installation

To install Nova Spark:

    npm install @nova/spark

Usage

Configuration

You can configure the agent with various options such as sample interval, enabled status, and more.

    import { Config } from '@nova/spark';

    const config = new Config({
        sampleInterval: 5000, // Collect metrics every 5 seconds
        enabled: true,
        maxMemorySnapshots: 10,
    });

Registering Collectors

You can register different collectors to gather specific metrics. For example, you can register a CPU collector and a memory collector.
