ntfy-opencode
One-way ntfy notifications for OpenCode V2. The phone is a pager: it cannot approve a permission, answer a question, or steer a session.
A failed send is logged and dropped. It never fails the turn.
Install
Put this in the global config, ~/.config/opencode/opencode.jsonc. A project entry cannot retarget the phone. A project can only disable the plugin.
{
"$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
"plugins": [
{
"package": "ntfy-opencode",
"options": {
"topic": "your-private-topic",
"token": "{env:NTFY_TOKEN}"
}
}
]
}topic is required. Without it the plugin loads and sends nothing. broker defaults to https://ntfy.sh. Leave token unset for a public topic. The string "ntfy-opencode" cannot carry a topic, so it sends nothing.
Self-hosted brokers may include a path. The topic is published to the broker with the topic in the body, so https://example.com/ntfy and topic alerts both work.
Disable it in a project with -ntfy-opencode. Do not add a second entry.
Milestones
All four are on unless milestones replaces the set.
| Milestone | When |
| --- | --- |
| idle | A root session is back at the prompt. Not proof the task succeeded. |
| permission | A session is stuck on a tool approval. |
| question | A session is stuck on something the agent asked. |
| fault | A root session's turn died and did not recover. |
A child session notifies only for permission and question. The notification is the milestone, the session title, and the project directory's basename. Prompt text, tool output, paths, and errors are not sent.
