Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Nubank Client

💳 A Nubank API client library for JavaScript (Node and Browser).

DISCLAIMER: This is not related to Nu Pagamentos S.A. It's not an official library from them, but it uses its public API. All requests depend on Nubank API's availability, and there aren't retries for network or other kinds of unexpected errors.

How it works

Nubank has a public API for its Web Application. This library was built to simplify this API usage by offering a simple interface to it. To make requests in the API you need to be authenticated using a Bearer token. To get the token you need to log in with your CPF and application password, and then read a QR Code using Nubank's mobile application (Go to "Perfil" and then "Acesso pelo site").

By the moment you can only get your bill's details with this library, the idea is to add more features like getting NuConta's statement. Feel free to contribute to this project if you want those features.

Usage

Install the package:

$ yarn add nubank-client # npm i nubank-client --save

This project uses tsyringe for dependency injection, so in some JavaScript environments you'll need to use polyfills for the Reflect API, you can see more about it here.

You can use the library on Node or Browser, there are no dependencies that force you to use it on a specific environment, you'll only have to split the authentication on different requests if you plan to build an API with Node. Here are some available examples:

Contributing

If you want to contribute with this project, fork this repository and open a PR with your code.

After cloning your fork repository, install project's dependencies:

$ npm i

Building and watching for code changes:

$ npm run build
$ npm run watch

Running tests:

$ npm run test

Linting and formatting code:

$ npm run lint
$ npm run format

I recommend you to use Visual Studio Code and to install the recommended extensions for a better development workflow ;)
