Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Numpresso

Numpresso is a TypeScript package that provides a simple, lightweight collection of tools for formatting numbers. It's designed to be easy to use, flexible, and customizable. Whether you need to format currency, display large numbers in a condensed format, or perform basic number formatting tasks, Numpresso has you covered.

Installation

To install Numpresso, you can use npm or yarn.

  npm install --save numpresso

Usage

To use Numpresso in your TypeScript project, you can import its various modules:

Formatting Number

To format number, you can use the format function:

const number = 1000_000_000;
const formattedNumber = numpresso(number).format('(000)'); // 1(000)(000)(000)

Formatting Currency

To format currency, you can use the toCurrency function:

const price = 1234.56;
const formattedPrice = numpresso(price).toCurrency('$'); // $1,234.56
