Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Numverify CLI

Numverify CLI is a simple and efficient tool for validating phone numbers and retrieving country dialing codes using the Numverify API.

Installation

To install the CLI globally, run the following command:

npm install -g numverify-cli

Setup

To use the CLI, you need an API key from Numverify. You can sign up and get your free API key from Numverify.

Once you have the API key, add it using the following command:

numverify add <api_key>

This will store your API key in the environment for seamless usage.

Commands

1. Validate a Phone Number

Validate a phone number to check its authenticity, format, and details:

numverify validate <phone_number>

Example

numverify validate 14158586273

2. Get Dialing Codes for Countries

Retrieve the dialing codes for one or more countries by name:

numverify countries <country_name1> <country_name2> ...

Example

numverify countries Afghanistan Albania Algeria

3. Add or Update API Key

Add or update your Numverify API key:

numverify add <api_key>

Example

numverify add your_api_key_here
