Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Weather CLI

A simple CLI to get the weather forecast for a given location.
(Uses the OpenWeatherMap Javascript SDK)

Usage

Here's how you could fetch the weather with each of the following categories

  • City
npx nweather-cli City London Imperial
  • Zip Code
npx nweather-cli Zip 90210 Imperial
  • Coordinates <Latitude, Longtiude>
npx nweather-cli Coords '<51.5074,0.1278>' Imperial
  • CityID
npx nweather-cli ID 2172797 Imperial

Responses

Let's say you ran the following command:

npx nweather-cli City 'Washington DC' Imperial

You would get the following response:
