Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

  • method block : This block describes method name or use defined name and can be customized using methodFormat option. (default: #.: )
  • assert block : This block describes assert method name and can be customized using assertFormat option. (default: #.)
  • execution block : This block is checking assertion results. It describes arguments and expected argument and also customizable using executionFormat option. (default: #.() =>

Object structure

  • method <function> : Anything method to test.
  • name <string> : Use an alternative name instead of the method name. It is useful when the method like prototype method has no name.
  • this <Object> : Used for this argument of method to call.
  • desc <string> : The description of methods functionality.
  • test <Object|Array> : The test object using method.
    • assert <string> : Method name of assert.
    • args <Array> : The argument array for the execution unit.
      • execArgs : The last argument uses as assert's expected argument, rest of arguments are used in method's arguments.

Customize output format

one-mocha supports customizable output format using options argument. The format has two difference types. One format type is string generated by sprintf the other format type is function can be access specific arguments of output parameters.

  • truncate<number>: Set output length for truncating extra length of argument and expected.
  • truncatePos<number>: Set position of truncating string.
  • methodFormat<string|function> : This format generate on method description block.
  • assertFormat<string|function>: This format generate on assert description block.
  • executionFormat<string|function>: This format generate on test execution it block.
