How It Works

opencode-free intercepts all API requests made by OpenCode to the cloud backend and applies several bypass techniques:

1. Request Interception — Monkey-patches globalThis.fetch to intercept all outgoing HTTP requests
2. Rate Limit Bypass — Detects 429/usage limit responses and retries with modified parameters
3. Header Stripping — Removes rate-limit tracking headers that enforce quotas
4. Model Rotation — Automatically falls back to alternative models when limits are hit
5. Local Proxy Mode — Optionally routes through a local proxy to bypass server-side checks
