Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Open Peer SDK for JavaScript

WebRTC P2P signalling, federated identities and more.

Usage

Development

Development of this SDK is done via a development UI:

make install-dev
make run-dev
open http://localhost:8081/

Development Process:

  1. make test (this runs server-side, dev UI and demo tests)
  2. Launch dev UI
  3. Run all dev UI tests
  4. Make changes
  5. Run/write individual tests to verify changes
  6. make test
  7. Commit

Demo

Install:

make install-demo

Run:

make run-demo

Test:

make test-demo

Deploy:

make deploy-demo

First time deploy setup for dotCloud:

sudo easy_install pip && sudo pip install dotcloud
dotcloud setup

Initial dotCloud application setup:

cd demo
dotcloud create -f live <name>
dotcloud push

Deployments:

  • Staging: http://opjsdemostage-hookflash.dotcloud.com/
