Orion

Agentic DeFi CLI for Solana. Ask questions in plain English — Orion plans, fetches live chain data, and returns grounded answers in your terminal.

Install

npm install -g orion-ai-cli

Then launch:

orion

First launch runs a short onboarding to configure your model backend and Solana cluster.

Setup

Copy .env.example to .env and fill in what you have:

Settings are persisted in ~/.orion/config.env after onboarding.

What it does

• Inspects wallets, accounts, token accounts, transaction signatures, and programs
• Plans multi-step prompts and executes each step with live progress markers
• Falls back gracefully from Solscan → RPC when keys are missing
• Watches accounts and signatures in the background across restarts
• Runs small read-only Solana code snippets for verification
• Maintains full session context — follow-up questions resolve references like "that wallet", "those errors", or "the program we discussed" without repeating yourself
• Wallet and transaction data is session-scoped and cleared on restart

Orion tracks everything discussed in the current session. Follow-up prompts work without repeating addresses or context:

Set ORION_PORT to change the port.

Web search

Orion can search the web to ground answers in current documentation and public facts. By default it uses DuckDuckGo. To use Google Search, add two keys to your .env:

GOOGLE_CSE_ID=your-custom-search-engine-id

Get them at console.cloud.google.com (enable Custom Search API) and programmablesearchengine.google.com (create a search engine set to "Search the entire web").

• Restart Orion after editing .env
• Watch tasks survive restarts and resume automatically
