Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A Mono repo faciliated by turbo-repo

This monorepo houses two Next.js apps and an Express.js api, optimizing development with integrated tailwind-features and the shad-cn component library for the Next.js apps.

Installation

You can install the overpowered-monorepo package from GitHub using npm.

npm install overpowered-monorepo

What's inside?

This repo includes the following packages/apps:

Apps and Packages

docs: a Next.js app
web: another Next.js app
api: a Express.js app
ui: a stub React and shadcn component library shared by both web and docs applications
tailwind-class: tailwind features are used throughout the monorepo
eslint-config-custom: eslint configurations (includes eslint-config-next and eslint-config-prettier)
tsconfig: tsconfig.jsons used throughout the monorepo

Each package/app is 100% TypeScript.

Utilities

This monorepo has some additional tools already setup for you:

TypeScript for static type checking
ESLint for code linting
Prettier for code formatting

Build

To build all apps and packages, run the following command:

npm run build

Develop

To develop all apps and packages, run the following command:

npm run dev
