Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A UI web component library to create eink like interfaces. Implementation in React.

Tenets

  1. Create components based on simplicity and minimal design
  2. Components are designed with an eink look & feel based on eink devices to allow focus on the important elements by adding color
  3. Components have to be tested
  4. Browser compatibility, mwith main focus on Chrome and FireFox stable versions

Components to create

  • Reset styles
  • Define colors, sizes, margins and paddings
  • Headings of different sizes
  • Buttons
    • Squared
    • Rounded
    • Borderer
    • Plain text
  • Modal with chesslike background
  • Images with black and white filter by default and colorful modifier to remove modifier
  • Form fields (input/textarea)
