Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Overview

Parallel is a React component library designed to simplify and enhance your web development projects. This README will guide you through the process of using Parallel in your React applications.

Installation

You can easily add Parallel to your project using either npm or yarn. Run one of the following commands in your project directory:

npm install parallel-ui

or

yarn add parallel-ui

Usage

Import the components you need in your React application. For example:

import { Container, Button, Text, Image } from "parallel-ui";

Begin utilizing the imported components within your application's JSX code. Here's an example of how to implement the Card component:

function MyCardComponent() {
  return (
    <Container
      gap="1rem"
      border="1"
      width="400px"
      direction="column"
      align="start"
      padding="1rem"
    >
      <Container gap="0.5rem" align="center">
        <Image src="https://parallel-ui.vercel.app/Parallel.png" alt="logo" />
        <Text variant="h4">Parallel</Text>
      </Container>
      <Text>
        Refer to the detailed documentation for each component to make the most
        of Parallel.
      </Text>
      <Container justify="end" width="100%">
        <Button
          label="Open"
          onClick={() => alert("https://parallel-ui.vercel.app/")}
        />
      </Container>
    </Container>
  );
}

Refer to the detailed documentation for each component to make the most of Parallel. Visit parallel-ui.vercel.app to access the documentation.

Unleash the Power of Parallel

Embrace the Parallel framework in your projects to unlock a host of advantages:

  1. Time and Cost Efficiency: Developers can accelerate their work while maintaining precision, leading to significant time and cost savings throughout project development.

  2. Elevated Quality: Leverage reliable, rigorously tested components to concentrate on crafting top-tier applications. Bid farewell to concerns about technical glitches and coding blunders during the design phase.

  3. Risk Mitigation: Minimize the chances of costly errors and project delays by harnessing a battle-tested component library. Your projects become more robust, secure, and dependable.
