Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Passa11y

Does your design system pass a11y?

Passa11y is an accessibility compliance scanner for design systems. It renders every component from your Storybook, audits it against WCAG 2.2 AA, and maps each finding to EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) — per component, per commit, in CI.

  • 🧩 Component-level findings, not page-level noise
  • ✅ CI gate: fail the PR that introduces a new blocker
  • 🇪🇺 EAA readiness report your CTO and lawyers can actually use
  • 🔒 Your code never leaves your CI — only scan results are reported

Status

v0.0.1 is a placeholder release — the CLI is under active development.
