Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

PHPhrame CLI Tool

A simple command-line interface (CLI) tool for downloading and setting up PHPhrame, a PHP MVC framework, globally with Node.js.

Features

Installation

Prerequisites

  • Node.js version 12 or higher is required.
    Download Node.js.
  • Install adm-zip
    npm install adm-zip

Global Installation

  1. Install the PHPhrame CLI tool using npm:

    npm install -i ph-phrame-cli
  2. After installation, you can run the CLI tool from anywhere in your terminal.

Usage

To Download and Set Up PHPhrame:

Simply run the following command:

ph-phrame

This command will:

  • Download the PHPhrame framework.
  • Extract the contents to a predefined directory (such as your home directory).
  • Set up PHPhrame, ready for use in your project.

Example Output

Downloading PHPhrame...
Extracting files...
Installation complete! PHPhrame has been set up at:
C:\Users\YourUser\php-hrame

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you have the necessary file permissions to write to the target directory.
  • If you face any problems with installation, try running the command prompt or terminal as an administrator.
