pi-agent-notify

Pi Coding Agent extension that wires Pi into the agent-notify notification system.

This is the Pi client for agent-notify — the macOS notification server (audio + TTS with per-agent voices, MCP integration, sequential queue, iTerm2 inline images, multi-window watch mode). Install and run the backend first; this extension talks to it over HTTP.

Tools registered

The notify tool description carries the core notification contract (when to fire, fresh $PI_MODEL discovery, path-only image field). For the full policy — cadence heuristics, timing, examples — pair it with a notify skill in your Pi setup.

Install

Via npm (published):

pi install npm:pi-agent-notify

Via git (latest, pre-publish or pinned):

pi install git:github.com/F1LT3R/pi-agent-notify

Manual (managing ~/.pi/agent/extensions/ yourself):

git clone https://github.com/F1LT3R/pi-agent-notify.git
ln -s "$PWD/pi-agent-notify/agent-notify.ts" ~/.pi/agent/extensions/agent-notify.ts

Then /reload in Pi (or start a new session). Verify with pi list.

Remove: pi remove npm:pi-agent-notify (or delete the symlink).
