Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

pi-quote-picker

A Pi extension for inserting text from assistant responses on the active session branch into the editor.

Install

pi install npm:pi-quote-picker

Use

Requires Pi's interactive TUI.

  1. Type > at the end of an editor line to open the picker.
  2. Continue typing to filter paragraphs from assistant responses on the active session branch.
  3. Use Up or Down to select a paragraph.
  4. Press Enter to insert it as a quote, or Alt+Enter to insert plain text. A blank line is added after each selection; type > there to select another paragraph, or type your prompt and press Enter to send it.
  5. Press Esc to close the picker.
