Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

pi-remotion

Remotion + ffmpeg extension for pi. Render programmatic videos with Remotion, post-process with ffmpeg — all from pi commands and LLM tools.

Install

pi install path:~/Projects/pi-remotion

Commands (slash commands for the human)

| Command | Description | |---|---| | /ffprobe <file> | Inspect video/audio — duration, resolution, codec, bitrate | | /transcode | Convert between formats, change codec/res/fps, trim, compress | | /frames | Extract frames as PNG/JPG images | | /gif | Convert video clip to optimized animated GIF | | /addaudio | Mux audio track onto a video | | /extractaudio | Rip audio track from a video | | /concat | Join multiple video files | | /thumbnail | Grab a single frame as an image | | /render | Trigger Remotion render (runs node render.mjs) |

Prerequisites

  • ffmpeg + ffprobe on PATH
  • Node.js for Remotion rendering
