Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

pi-surplus

Surplus Intelligence gateway provider for Pi and Oh My Pi (OMP).

Registers a surplus provider backed by the live Surplus Intelligence API — no bundled model list:

  • Live catalog — OpenRouter-compatible /v1/models: context length, modalities, supported parameters
  • Live marketplace pricing — /api/markets cheapest seller offer per model, falling back to catalog reference price (USD)
  • Always current — models are fetched dynamically, never frozen at a snapshot; on OMP the host caches for 24 h (omp models refresh forces a re-fetch), on Pi the provider refreshes through the host's model-refresh flow

Install

Requires Bun in PATH.

omp install pi-surplus           # Oh My Pi
pi install npm:pi-surplus        # Pi

Set your API key:

export SURPLUS_INTELLIGENCE_API_KEY=...

Models appear as surplus/<model-id> in /model.
