Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Overview

Unified file browser for external storage backends (S3, SFTP) with virtual directory mapping, per-directory ACL, and streaming data transfer.

Features

Virtual Directory Tree: Map S3 prefixes or SFTP paths to a logical folder structure within NocoBase.
Role-Based Access: Define granular read/write/delete permissions per directory for different user roles.
Stream Upload/Download: Safely transfer large files without overloading server memory.

Usage

Enable the plugin.
In the "File Manager" module, configure your External Storage provider.
Define the directory structure you want to expose.
Assign permissions to these directories in the Role Management settings.
Users can now browse, upload, and download files through the UI as if they were local.
