Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Shortcuts

Installation

npm install poglog -g
  • by using this script, You install poglog and poglog-client Client
  • Yeah that's pretty much it!

Server CLI

poglog FILENAME.FILE_EXTENSION FILEOPTIONS --pass APASSWORD --port 1234
ex.
poglog index.js development --pass POoA
Options:
      --version           Show version number                          [boolean]
      --password, --pass  password for remote connecting                [string]
      --port              Socket port default: 6754     [number] [default: 6754]
      --engine            compiler for running script   [string] [default: node]
  -h, --help              Show help                                    [boolean]

Client CLI

poglog-client --ip IP_ADDR --pass APASSWORD --port 1234 --simple
ex.
poglog-client --ip 192.168.1.1 -pass POoa
  • if you use --simple, You'll get just the script log not system usage and ...
Options:
