Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

CLI for managing PPIO agent sandbox templates

Readme

PPIO Sandbox CLI

This CLI tool allows you to build manager your running PPIO sandbox and sandbox templates. Learn more in our documentation.

1. Install the CLI

Using NPM

npm install -g ppio-sandbox-cli

2. Authenticate

ppio-sandbox-cli auth login

[!NOTE] To authenticate without the ability to open the browser, provide PPIO_ACCESS_TOKEN as an environment variable. You can find your token in Account Settings under the Team selector at ppio.com/console. Then use the CLI like this: PPIO_ACCESS_TOKEN=sk_... ppio-sandbox-cli template build.

[!IMPORTANT]
Note the distinction between PPIO_ACCESS_TOKEN and PPIO_API_KEY.

3. Agent Runtime Commands

The CLI provides commands for managing PPIO Agent Runtime projects, with a command structure similar to AWS Bedrock Agentcore for easier migration.

Configure Agent

# Interactive configuration
ppio-sandbox-cli agent configure

# Non-interactive with options
ppio-sandbox-cli agent configure --name my-agent --entrypoint agent.py --no-interactive

Deploy Agent

# Deploy to PPIO Sandbox
ppio-sandbox-cli agent deploy

# Or use 'launch' command (alias for deploy)
ppio-sandbox-cli agent launch

Invoke Agent

# Simple text invocation
ppio-sandbox-cli agent invoke "Hello, how are you?"

# JSON payload invocation
ppio-sandbox-cli agent invoke '{"prompt": "What is the weather?", "location": "Beijing"}'

# With streaming response
ppio-sandbox-cli agent invoke "Write a long story" --stream

# With custom timeout
ppio-sandbox-cli agent invoke "Complex task" --timeout 120

Comparison with AWS Agentcore CLI

PPIO CLI commands are similar to AWS Bedrock Agentcore CLI for easier migration:

| AWS Agentcore | PPIO CLI | Notes | |---------------|----------|-------| | agentcore configure | ppio-sandbox-cli agent configure | Similar options | | agentcore launch | ppio-sandbox-cli agent launch | Same as agent deploy | | agentcore invoke "text" | ppio-sandbox-cli agent invoke "text" | Positional argument |

Key Differences:

  • PPIO uses agent subcommand group for better organization alongside sandbox and template commands
  • PPIO supports --stream option for streaming responses
  • PPIO includes additional command groups: auth, sandbox, template
